Why does the Torah need to tell us, "And you shall gather your grain?" Because another verse says, "This scroll of the Torah shall not depart from you mouth and you shall meditate in it day and night". We might understand this verse literally and think that we need to study 24 hours a day. Therefore the Torah teaches "You shall also gather your grain " - we must combine Torah study with the way of the world . - Talmud Berachot 35b

Busy schedules make us feel we have no time for study. With some effort, we can find time to attend classes and study sessions with our community. With even less effort, we can use our ever growing online repository of previous classes and resources to enrich our souls and minds.

Try to set aside a little time each day in your schedule to take a deep breath and loose yourself in study. Whether you make it to one of our current classes, open up a volume in a comfortable chair or relax in front of your computer, you'll be amazed at what you discover about Torah, yourself and the world God has given us.
