Shalom! Our members are as diverse as the community in which we live, and we welcome all families who would like to be a part of our family. Whether you are both Jewish, interfaith, or looking for a place where you can connect with the Jewish faith-Beth Israel is here for you. All are welcome to worship at our services. We invite you to participate in our community, and encourage you to ask questions and discover Judaism. We will support you in your personal or familial Jewish journey. At Beth Israel, we offer interfaith couples the support and resources they need to create a Jewish home, to practice and grow in Judaism, and to raise children as learned and committed Jews. We welcome you to enjoy any of our programs, clubs, social events and educational classes. Our preschool accepts both Jewish and non-Jewish children, and non-Jewish children of interfaith couples may be enrolled in our Religious School, provided there is an intent to have the child converted to Judaism. Keruv Committee Beth Israel Congregation has a Keruv (outreach) Committee to identify and address the needs of interfaith families. Also, we seek to support Jewish parents and grandparents of interfaith couples, and help them to respectfully encourage the development of their children’s or grandchildren’s Jewish identity. Questions? We encourage you to contact Rabbi Goldstein. He will be glad to meet with you to discuss your concerns and answer any questions you might have.
