Continue the tradition of faith, service, and community by joining the Beth Israel Brotherhood. The active group follows three core values: enhance religious experience, provide service to the synagogue, and offer social events. The Beth Israel Brotherhood is affiliated with the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs (FJMC). 

Religious Experience
Working together with the synagogue clergy, the Brotherhood develops programs to enhance members’ religious experience at the synagogue and at home. One new program helps attendees at Shabbat morning services better understand and appreciate the meaning of the rituals and symbols in the synagogue.

Service 
Helping the synagogue to operate more efficiently has always been a key aspect of Brotherhood activities. Service includes such activities as: 

Setting up chairs for the High Holidays
Constructing the congregational sukkah
Distributing Yom Hashoah candles.  
In addition, the Brotherhood provides youth scholarships and sponsors Cub Scout Pack 971.
