Camp Scholarship Fund
Supports summer camp scholarships. Minimum donation: $10
 
Claire and Ken Sodden Memorial Youth Fund
Supports Beth Israel’s youth programs, specifically scholarships and leadership training. Minimum donation: $10
Claire Sodden was the daughter of Beth Israel’s late executive director Ken Sodden. Active at Beth Israel in USY, she passed away at age 20. 
 
Goldie Gorn Education Fund
Supports the Joseph and Corinne Schwartz Religious School, specifically with financial assistance for students. This fund was named for Beth Israel’s first Education Director, Goldie Gorn. Minimum donation: $10


K’vod L’Torah Fund
Maintains Beth Israel Congregation’s Torahs. Minimum donation: $15
 
Marla Joy Lerner Audio/Video Lending Library Fund
Supports the Marilyn & Herbert Scher Library, in particular with audiovisual materials related to Judaism. 
Marla Joy Lerner passed away in 1996. In her memory, the Lerner family established this fund to support Jewish educational and entertainment endeavors.

Prayer Book & Humash Fund
Maintains and repairs Beth Israel’s prayer books. Provides for fund to purchase specialized liturgical books such as for Tisha B’av, Selichot, and Purim. Minimum donation: Prayer Book- $18, with plated inscription - $36; Bible- $30, with plated inscription - $60
 
Ted H. Schweitzer Memorial Fund
Supports the general operation of the congregation, including beautification of the grounds and property.
Ted Schweitzer was Beth Israel’s president from 1995 through 1997. He guided the purchase and development of our Owings Mills campus, now designated the Ted Schweitzer Campus. 
 
Rabbi Goldstein’s Discretionary Fund
A discretionary fund used by the Rabbi to facilitate his rabbinical responsibilities. No minimum donation required.

Cantor Eisenberg’s Discretionary Fund
A discretionary fund used by the Cantor to facilitate his cantorial responsibilities. No minimum donation required.
