Last Wednesday (January 6, 2021), following the tragic events that took place in our Capitol Building, more than 85 families in our Beth Israel community gathered on Zoom for a brief service to pray for peace. Some of us also shared our thoughts. As we proceed through the next couple weeks of this tumultuous time in our nation, we want to give congregants a safe space online to share their thoughts and feelings. We have no agenda – no syllabus, no political messaging, no lectures, and no judgment. We just want to offer a place for support. To start out, these sessions will take place 30 minutes twice a week for the next two weeks. They are open to all.
