We would like to thank Karen Shuster and Scott Shindell for serving on the Board. Karen was instrumental in the creation of our High Holiday brochure and supported the Marketing Committee. Scott lent his talents to the Marketing Committee, Strategic Plan Finance Committee and Bylaws Task Force. We are truly grateful to both Karen and Scott for dedicating significant time and energy to Beth Israel Congregation.

According to Article XIII, Section 3 of the Constitution and By-Laws, “Independent nominations may be made upon the signature of at least fifty members in good standing of the Congregation including the independent nominee. Independent nominations must be filed with the Recording Secretary and Corresponding Secretary not later than forty (40) days prior to the Annual Meeting.” This year, the last date to make an independent nomination is May 3.

Thank you for being a part of our Beth Israel community. We look forward to seeing you at the Annual Meeting on June 12. Please stay tuned for more information.
