A reminder to our congregants that this Shabbat, you will be able to view services on StreamSpot through the link provided here. Join us as we celebrate the bat mitzvah of Tyler Zukerberg. Only family members are invited to the sanctuary for this service; others are asked to view via Livestream. We return to Zoom next weekend with Brotherhood Shabbat. During Zoom services, we ask that congregants “rename” their screens to include first and last names. This is a very big help so that those attending our services can know who else is present, and welcome newcomers! Please refer to this video if you are unsure of how to do this on Zoom.
In brief, hover over the “participants” tab where your name is listed, and click “rename.” Then you can write your name in the box.

You will be doing a real mitzvah for our community members by attending services as frequently as possible on Zoom so that we can make sure we actually have a minyan for those in mourning and observing a loved one’s Yahrzeit.

Shabbat and Festivals:
Shabbat Morning Lev Shalem
Shabbat & Festival Torah and Haftarah Readings are displayed on the screen during Services, as are readings for Friday night’s Shabbat Nefesh and TGIF services.

Weekday:
Weekday Morning Siddur Sim Shalom
Weekday Morning Siddur Sim Shalom Torah Service Only
Weekday Torah Readings
Weekday Mincha Siddur Sim Shalom
Weekday Ma'ariv Siddur Sim Shalom

We recognize that using Zoom for services is “new territory” for all of us, and that it will take some adjustment.
Here are some guidelines to follow to make your introduction to ZOOM go a bit more smoothly.

1. Click on the link to enter the Zoom meeting for the minyan you wish to attend.
2. Follow the instructions to download the Zoom application on your computer or iPad (if you have not used Zoom from that device in the past).
3. Once you are into the video chat, on the bottom left hand corner of the screen, mute your audio so that others cannot hear background noise that may be present in your house. It’s helpful to wear headphones so that you hear less background noise.
4. Press “Speaker view” in the upper right so you see only the person who is talking (such as the service leader). If you are on “Gallery View,” you will see everyone who is on the call at once, instead.
