As our physical isolation from community and family continues for the foreseeable future, we remain concerned for the well-being of those we love and care for. In addition, as the weather gets colder and the days shorter, we need to be sensitive to our own feelings as well.

Dr. Hale is Special Advisor to the President of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and Director of the Healthy Community Partnership. A psychologist, he also is an Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is the author of Depression: Out of the Darkness and into the Light.
