Sisterhood is a place to connect to community
Sisterhood is a place to become connected to your community. Members come together in an informal environment to forge friendships and explore religious and social issues. An affiliate of the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism, the Beth Israel Sisterhood lets members enjoy dynamic programming designed to educate and enlighten.
From day trips to cultural outlets to presentations on topics of interest to today’s woman, as well as a book club, wine tasting events, craft nights, and presentations from experts on topics relevant to families. Sisterhood members are always very busy. In addition to managing the Beth Israel gift shop and providing our Shabbat kiddush, Beth Israel Sisterhood members have forged life-long friendships with each other — friendships founded on the premise that women can work together to provide a better tomorrow for their families and our congregation.
