In conjunction with Jewish Disabilities Awareness Month, Beth Israel is piloting a different kind of (in-person) Shabbat experience geared towards those for whom long, focused "sits" are not their thing. The service itself will last about half an hour, with opportunities for movement and making noise throughout. There will be finger-foods served after the service ends. Open to everyone with special focus on families with neurodivergent young people. Beth Israel wants everyone to feel welcomed and included in our community.
